Colours and Finishes
Colours
We offer every colour that is available on the British Standard colour chart and the RAL colour chart. Combined, there are over 3,000 colours to choose from, spanning the whole colour gamut and every shade you can imagine.
We can also mix a custom colour and we provide a 99% accurate colour match service. This means we can mix a colour to any palette. We use a digital paint sensor to mix colours to as high an accuracy as you would get from a manufacturer.
The most popular surface coating colours in Dubai are RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey and RAL 7010 Tarpaulin Grey. These colours mimic aluminium and zinc, giving plastics and wood (as well as other metals) a premium appearance.
We also paint the render on buildings and stonework and brickwork. Lighter colours work best in Dubai because they reflect sunlight and heat.
Finishes
We offer a matte, satin or glossy paint finish. Matte has 0% reflection, satin has 30% reflection and gloss has a 100% reflection. Most of our customers in Dubai choose a satin finish because this offers the best of both worlds.
Since there’s a lot of sunlight in Dubai, a gloss paint finish will reflect a lot of light, which could be overpowering at street height. Satin is a better compromise, and matte has its own charm with the ability to absorb light.
Generally speaking, darker paint colours suit a matte and satin finish better. Lighter colours look fantastic with any kind of finish. When choosing a finish for your property in Dubai, we recommend considering the amount of reflection you want.
